This is a relatively common issue with these vehicles. We have simply kept track of the fuel level using the trip meter and reset it every time we refuelled. We normally refuelled at around 400 km, even though the van can travel further on a full tank. We preferred not to risk running low, which is why a 10L emergency petrol jerry can is also included. ❀️ WHY THIS ELGRAND? This isn’t just a basic work van converted into a camper. The Elgrand was originally designed as a luxury MPV, so it offers significantly more comfort, space and refinement than many traditional campervans. It has a comfortable interior, multiple airbags, good insulation from outside noise and cold weather, and a very smooth and comfortable drive. Compared with basic vans such as the Toyota Hiace, the Elgrand also offers a more passenger-focused design with crumple zones and a much more comfortable interior. And for music lovers, the van has a great factory sound system with speakers throughout the interior. 🌿 READY TO GO We are only the second owners of this camper conversion, so everything inside is still in very good and well-maintained condition. You don’t need to spend time or money buying extra camping equipment – pretty much everything you need is already included. I will also wash the bed linen before handing the van over. Just jump in, start the engine and start exploring New Zealand. πŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ πŸ“ Viewing and test drives available from 16 November.
